21 March 2023, Harry S. Foster American Legion Post 67 donated $500.00 to the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank. The foodbank supports such events as the weekly "Backpack Program" and the "Kids Cafe Program". The Foodbank serves the following 9 cities and counties: Hampton, Newport News, Poquoson, Gloucester, Surry, James City, York, Williamsburg and Matthew.

On 21 April 23, American Legion 67 donated $500 to the Six Mount Zion Church to support their community activism. Six Mount Zion is fully engage with local community needs as do American Legion Post 67. The partnership was inevitable!
